Oak Creek Recreation Site / Campground

Cool sun rays coming through the smoke.

Oak Creek Campground is located in the scenic Oak Creek Canyon of central Utah's Fishlake National Forest. The campground is less than 5 miles from Oak City, Utah and is open May through September. The campground is in a dense grove of oak, maple, and cottonwood trees, which provide excellent shade and privacy.

Oak Creek Campground contains four group sites and several individual sites. Amenities include vault toilets, campfire rings, drinking water, grills, picnic tables, and volleyball courts.

Trip Report: June 27, 2009

We camped at Oak Creek Campground in June 2009 as part of our trip to Little Sahara Sand Dunes, Topaz Mountain, Sunstone Knoll, and Fort Deseret State Park. The campground was nice but a little out of the way. More information can be found at http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/fishlake/recarea/?recid=12220 .
