We (Jeremy, Tara, Savannah, Shaun, Melissa, Jacob, Kylie, and Kate) hiked the Rocky Mouth trail to the waterfall on 7/2/2011.
Rocky Mouth Trail at EveryTrail
The trailhead is located at 11300 S. Wasatch Blvd.

The trail starts at the parking lot and goes east up the hill. The trail is well-maintained, with wooden steps for the first part.

After about 200 feet, the trail reaches Eagle View Drive. Turn right and stay on the sidewalk. The road bends, and the trail continues to the right between two houses. A sign pointing to the trail makes it impossible to miss.

After about 0.15 miles, the trail meets up with river. There are some pretty cascades.

On the left, there is an abandoned mine that has been sealed closed with concrete.

You'll soon reach the Rocky Mouth Falls.

The water was very cold, even in July, but we walked around a little and played for most of an hour.

On the return trip, we explored a very small cave. It only goes back about 20 feet.
