Story

We stopped at the Chimney Rock pullout and took some pictures but didn't actually go on the hike. Chimney Rock is a pillar of red sandstone along Highway 24 in Capitol Reef National Park. The Chimney Rock trail takes you up and around to see Chimney Rock from above.
