Overview

Hype:

As the natural heart of Thanksgiving Point, the Ashton Gardens feature 50 acres of stately gardens, grand lawns, and the largest manmade waterfall in America. The gardens are organized like rooms, with trees, shrubs, and grasses serving as living barriers between the 17 themed spaces. Each space provides opportunities to reflect and rejuvenate in the wonders of the natural world.

Throughout the year, Ashton Gardens is themed for various themes including the spring Tulip Festival, summer Return to Dinosaur Island, and winter Luminaria.

Story

For family home evening, we went to Ashton Gardens for their tulip fesitval. Because we had such a cold spring, most of the tulips hadn't bloomed yet. We had fun spotting the hidden shoes and wandering the gardens then we grabbed hot dogs and went to the Museum of Natural Curiosity.
