Hype:

The Ajo Historical Society Museum is a small museum run by volunteers in a converted Mission. The hours of operation listed online and on the door were not correct. We went 3 different times that it was supposed to be open, and it was closed all 3 times.

Story

On our way to Puerto Penasco, we stopped in Ajo and tried to visit the Ajo Historical Society Museum. Online, it said the visitor center was open, but there was no one there and it was all locked up. We tried again on Saturday on our way back, and it was closed again.
