Fall Activities in the Back Forty is a fall-themed event at Rowley's Red Barn. The Back Forty includes a ten-acre corn maze, a six-acre pumpkin patch and a large play area that includes pedal tractor racing, giant slides, apple cannons, a corn pit, jumping pillows, zip lines and many photo opportunities.

Nobody got to sleep in because we went to Rowley's Red Barn first thing. We met my family there at 9:00 so we could do everything before it got too hot. Unfortunately we didn't realize that the only thing open at 9:00 was their barn. We bought some donuts and hung out in their waiting area for an hour. But it was fun because we got to catch up on everyone's latest adventures. We also folded a bunch of paper airplanes. We made plans for our trip to Ouray. At 10:00, we caught the wagon ride to the back 40 acres, where we played in the corn pit, slid down the slides, did the zipline, jumped on their inflatables, shot the apple canon, and went through the corn maze. Then we caught the wagon ride back to the parking area. We got apple cider slushies, using our starving student discount card so that we only paid $10 for five of them. We got home around 2:00.

We went to Rowley's Red Barn and played around in the Back Forty as one of our only activities during Fall Break. We had a great time with all the activities. We especially liked the apple cannon and the scratch-off cards in the corn maze.
