We set up a 40' x 50' haunted house at FearCon. Zac and Tara helped with setup on Wednesday and Anthony and Zac helped on Thursday. FearCon ran for Friday and Saturday, then Tara, Zac, Bryce, Kara, and I took down the haunt Saturday night. We had volunteers running the haut during FearCon.
On Friday, I worked half a day then got all the music and fog and stuff set up. I played 3 of the mobile escape rooms there and wandered around the vender booths. That evening my family, Ondy's family, and Zac and Jess attended the Vampire Circus, which was really well done except that the venue didn't have sloped seating, so a lot of the performance was blocked by all the heads in the row ahead of us.
On Saturday, we had Tara's grandma's funeral, so we were only at FearCon for an hour before it opened then for an hour before it closed. We played one more mobile escape room, got faces painted, and painted pumpkins. Then we tore down the haunt and went home. It was a long week, but fun!

I set up and ran a 25x40 haunted house at FearCon. We loaded everything into a box truck on Tuesday evening. They unloaded it for me on Wednesday morning. On Wednesday, I worked on setting it up from 6:00 p.m. to about 1:00 a.m. Then on Thursday, I got there around 7:00 p.m. and worked until midnight. Then I finished setting everything up Friday morning. FearCon opened Friday at noon and went until 10:00. Then I ran it again Saturday starting at 10:00 a.m. and going until 10:00 p.m. We had a deadline to vacate the Salt Palace, so I stayed until 4:00 a.m. taking everything down. They loaded it in a box truck on Sunday and unloaded it for me into my shipping container (because I was sleeping and didn't get their text message until too late). It was a TON of work, but it was fun.
