Hype:
The Spanish Fields Halloween Carnival was a delightful community event that brought festive fun for all ages. Held at our church pavilion, the carnival featured an array of charming, carnival-style yard games, inviting kids to test their skills and win small prizes. Adding to the excitement was a lively trunk-or-treat, where creatively decorated cars and generous neighbors handed out treats to costumed visitors. The cheerful atmosphere, creative decorations, and community spirit made this event a highlight of the Halloween season.

After my grandma Kendall's funeral, we went straight home to set up for the ward Halloween carnival. We got all the games pulled together then went to the church and got everything set up. We had a bunch of carnival games including cornhole, disc golf, ladder golf, whack-a-mole, pop the balloon, and a few others. Everyone showed up at 3:30 for the carnival. The kids played the games for about 45 minutes while the parents got their trunk or treat things pulled together. Then we all did trunk or treat in the parking lot. After that, we gave out some prizes for best costumes and trunks then cleaned up and went home. It was very well attended, and everyone had a great time.
