Hype:
The Haunted Forest is an outdoor haunt on the shore of Utah Lake in American Fork. They generally have shorter lines than the other big haunts, but their experience is top notch. They have many good effects and props.

Savannah invited her friend Audrey to come to the Haunted Forest with Tara and me. Savannah was a bit overwhelmed by all the gore and people scaring her, and she didn't enjoy it very much. She wanted to leave early but had to stick it through all the way. After it was over though, she and Audrey had a fun time talking about it on the drive home. She had fun in hindsight.

Jeremy Dye, Spanish Fields Priests,
We took the Priests to the Haunted Forst for our Tuesday night activity. We arrived a few minutes before they opened, and we were the first ones in line. We didn't realize we were supposed to wait at the front gate, so we let ourselved in. We made it a few hundred feet before one of the actors had us go back to the entrance. After waiting a few minutes, they split our group into 3 groups of 4 people and let the first group through. The line wasn't too long, so they spaced each group out by about 5 minutes so each group could experience the haunt individually. I was in the group with the other leaders. The whole thing was really well done, but a few things that stood out were the rooms that were 100% full of dense fog and green lights where you had to feel your way out to escape, the cannons on the pirate ship, and the swamps and bridges you had to cross.
