Hype:
Mystique Dining is a venue that offers dining and magic shows. The food was very good, but the magician that performed at our dinner was very bad. The magic tricks were the same tricks that come in children's box magic sets. The slight of hand was obvious. The tricks were repeated so many times that if you didn't catch how they were done the first time, you had a second and third chance to see how they were done.

We got discount tickets for Christmas and finally found a date that worked for everyone to go. Dinner was really good, but the magician was cringeworthy. We have a family joke that at least one Dye family gathering each year has to have an activity as bad as the Oregon Vortex, and this was it. We were planning on returning with the Laurendeaus, but we changed plans because it was so bad.
