Payson Community Pool is located in the city of Payson, Utah and operates primarily as a summer recreation destination for individuals, families, and groups. As an outdoor municipal pool, it is designed to provide affordable and accessible swimming opportunities to the local community during the warm season. The pool is especially popular with families, children, and teens looking for a fun and safe environment to swim.
The facility typically includes a main swimming area, lap lanes, and water features that appeal to both recreational swimmers and those looking for light exercise. During the operating season, the pool may also host swim lessons, community events, and private rentals such as birthday parties or group gatherings. Its role as a community hub makes it a valued summer amenity in Payson.
Because it is an outdoor pool, its usability is closely tied to weather and temperature, with operations generally limited to late spring through early fall. Visitors planning a trip should be aware that hours and availability vary by season, and the pool is usually closed during colder months when swimming conditions are not suitable.

For Savannah’s birthday party, all she wanted to do was play with Becca all day. They played at our house until about 3:30, then went to the Payson pool. When they got to the Payson pool, there was lightning, so they weren’t able to get in the water. They waited for about an hour hoping that the pool would reopen, but they closed it and everybody came home. They didn’t end up swimming at all.

Madi and Cooper took swimming lessons at the Payson pool because the Spanish Fork pool was demolished to build the new high school.
