The facility includes a diverse range of amenities, such as indoor and outdoor pools (including a competition pool, lazy rivers, waterslides and leisure pools), multi-purpose gyms, courts for sports like basketball and pickleball, expansive fitness areas with equipment, classrooms for group fitness (e.g., spin and yoga), an indoor track, and a dedicated community/senior center space. There’s also an indoor playground and areas for childcare, swim lessons, and other organized programming.

Savannah and Mary had a swim meet from 7:00 to 9:00. Tara volunteered helping with that. Both girls brought home ribbons for one first-place race and one third-place race.

Cooper played with Killian during the evening and the rest of us went to the Fit City Center. Tara was feeling tired, so she didn’t do the Zumba class. Instead, she coached the girls on swimming. I ran a mile in about 9 minutes, then ran and jogged a second mile. That’s the most I’ve run in a long time, or maybe ever.
