Hype:
The Royden G. Derrick planetarium at BYU was completed in March of 2005 and upgraded in 2021. The facility is located on the 4th floor of the Eyring Science Center on campus and is used primarily for holding university classes. However, they also provide outreach shows for community groups as well as shows for the general public. Tickets go on sale at the planetarium door on the 4th floor of the ESC starting at 6:30 PM and are $5 for adults, $2 for children 12 and under. Be on time. Shows start promptly on time and for safety reasons we cannot let people in late.

Tara picked up dinner on the way and we ate in the Wilk food court. Then we walked over to the Eyring Science Center and attended the planetarium show. The student that gave the presentation was a lot of fun. Miller asked a lot of questions, but she was very patient. The movie that they showed at the end of the presentation was a bit overly dramatic but alright.
