I never could get this prop to fully work. I tried a ceiling fan motor first, but it didn't have enough torque. Then I tried a windshield wiper motor. The motor was attached to a crank shaft with big loops that rotated within a gap of metal bars connected to the backs of the books. I ran out of time and never finished this prop. It turned into a static bookcase.
