Capitol Reef Campground

Scouts from Troop 601.

The Fruita Campground is a very nice campground in Capitol Reef National Park. The facilities include flush toilets, drinking water, campfire rings, and picnic tables. The campground is withing walking distance of several hiking trails.

Trip Report: March 14-15, 2013

The 12 & 13-year-old scouts from Troop 601 camped at the Capitol Reef Campground for their March 2013 scout campout. I tagged along as a volunteer chaperone. We hiked to Hickman Bridge on Friday night and up Cohab Canyon on Saturday.
