Overview

Hype:

The Temple Mountain Pictograph Panel is a group of large and striking dark red pictographs. They are located on the north side of South Temple Mountain Wash, roughly one mile west of the turnoff to Goblin Valley State Park, which is in the San Rafael Reef area of central Utah. Because the site can easily be seen from the paved road it is well known and heavily visited.

Story

We weren't actually planning on visiting the pictograph panel, but we turned onto the wrong road when looking for our group's campsite and saw the sign, so we pulled off and took some pictures. I had heard of the pictograph panel before but wasn't sure where it was located. I'm pretty sure the interpretive sign and the fence are recent additions and weren't there the last time I was is the area.
