The butterfly coil is my favorite way to store ropes.
The butterfly coil is great because it doesn't put twists in the rope. It's super fast once you get the hang of it.
I've taught the butterfly coil to tons of people, and most of them have a hard time at first. It's a little bit counter-intuitive.
