Story

I went straight from work to the Urban Forest disc golf course. Tara met me there with a change of shoes and shirt. Jaren and Ondy also met us there, and we did all 18 holes as a team while our kids babysat Killian and Calliope. We finished exactly on par. We had 4 teams show up, and people had a great time.

Story

Tara and Savannah spent the morning getting things ready for our ward geocaching activity. The got all the combination locks set and assigned to each geocache number and got all the papers printed and cut out. Tara had several thing she wanted to do Saturday morning including helping with the Main Street flowerbed planting service project, attending Kylie's dance performance, and attending her quilting class, but she said no to those because she was too stressed about getting things ready for the geocaching activity.

We met up with the other activity committee members at 2:30. The actual activity started at 4:30. We set up canopies, tables, chairs, and a water jug. Then we filled all the boxes with treats and prizes and puzzle papers and locked the boxes and started taking the boxes to each of the hiding spots. The only problem was that we had neglected to set the correct combinations on 3 of the locks and we didn't know what the combination was. So we had three boxes locked with no way to open them. Luckily there were only 1,000 possible combinations, so we brute-forced them open. We set the locks to the desired combinations and got everything set up with plenty of time to spare. We hung out at the park until the geocaching activity started.

We had about 10 families come participate. Madi went around with Brookelyn's family. Cooper rode his bike around and didn't tell us where he was going, so we didn't know where he was for most of the evening. Tara did Savannah's hair and makeup then they went to Savannah's final Musical Theater Showcase. I grabbed some discs and practiced my putting while everyone was doing the activity. Then when it was all over at about 8:00, we gathered up the boxes and went home.

Story

Savannah babysat the kids, and the adults went over to the disc golf course and played as many holes as we could before dark. We had some good throws. And we had a lot of not-so-good throws.

Story

We played disc golf for our Young Mens activity. We were worried about losing discs, so we played in teams of two. One person walked ahead so they could see where the disc landed while the other person threw, then we switched. We only had time for 9 holes.
