Hype:
The Wallsburg Group Area is a group-use picnic/camp site within Deer Creek State Park, located near the town of Wallsburg, Utah in Wasatch County, Utah. This site is designed for larger gatherings — you’ll find pavilions with picnic tables, grills, power, serving tables, and bathrooms nearby. The location sits on the shores of Deer Creek Reservoir, in the scenic Heber Valley area, with the surrounding Wasatch Range providing a dramatic mountain-backdrop. Because of its size and the amenities, it’s ideal for family reunions, church groups, scout outings, or other gatherings of moderate to large groups. One thing to keep in mind: the site is more suited to spring through early fall use. In winter the reservoir and area can be quite cold, and some services may be limited. Reservations are recommended for the group-areas, and you’ll want to check what kind of vehicle limits, parking passes, or entrance fees apply.

We picked up Cooper and drove to Deer Creek State Park for the Epic Summer Party. We played yard games like pickleball, darts, and Connect Four.
We had dinner and dessert, chatted, and headed home. We received an outdoor blanket as a thank-you gift.
