Hype:

There are two ways to visit the Fiery Furnace in Arches National Park. You can go on a ranger-guided tour or on your own. Unfortunately they wouldn't let us go because Savannah is under 5, so we just went to the lookout.

Trail Condition: Class 3 (Trail may have sections where hands are needed. Trail may not be visible in spots or may not exist at all.)

Story

We tried to get a canyoneering permit for the fiery furnace, but they have a policy against taking small children, so were weren't able to go. Instead we took a short hike.
