Story

After we got all the tubes inflated, Anthony and I dropped a shuttle car down at the takeout and then drove back to the launch area. We all hopped on our tubes and started floating. The only problem was that we weren't actually moving. The river flow was so low that we had to kick to make any real progress. We had a lazy time of it. The weather was perfect, it was a little chilly after getting wet and then being up in the wind, but it was very nice. We talked a bunch, ate some snacks, saw lots of cool birds, and enjoyed the leisurely float. The only significant current was right at the takeout, where it got surprisingly swift compared to the rest of the stretch.
