On our way home from spring break, we stopped at Cedar Breaks National Monument. As we climbed elevation, the snow got deeper and deeper. By the time we got to Cedar Breaks, the road was completely snowed in and closed. We got out and walked to an overlook. It was super cold and windy so a lot of the kids stayed in the vehicles.

On our way to the Rattlesnake Creek trailhead, we stopped at Cedar Break's North View Overlook so the Scouts could check it out.
Then we piled back in the car and drove around the corner to the Rattlesnake Creek trailhead.
