At this point, everyone split up into groups. My group hiked around Jenny Lake to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point then continued around the lake to the picnic area. We had a close encounter with a bear, which was very exciting in a literal way.
Here are a few of the pictures from our hike.
Lawson's group hiked around Jenny Lake to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point then went back the way they came.
Drew and Tiffany also saw a bear.
The other groups took the ferry across Jenny Lake. Most of them went to Hidden Falls. And a lot of them kept going to Inspiration Point, where a lot of groups ran into each other. Dad and Grandpa only made it about half way to Hidden Falls before turning around. They saw a bear too.
We all met up around 3:00 for lunch at the String Lake Picnic Area.
