Hype:
Jilted Lover is a fun and short slot canyon near the bottom of Blushing Bride Canyon. This canyon is not often done by itself but makes a fun addition to Blushing Bride. There are very few natural anchor opportunities, so most drops require a meat anchor and a competent climber.

Ondy stayed at camp with the kids while Anthony and I did Jilted Lover really quick. We made it back to camp in time for breakfast. I would not recommend doing Jilted Lover by itself, but if you're doing Blushing Bride, definitely add this one on.

Tara Dye, Ondylyn Wagner, Shaylin Dye, Eric Burrows,
After we completed Blushing Bride, most of the group hiked back to the truck while Eric, Tara, Ondylyn, and Shaylin attempted to go up Jilted Lover. They had three potshots and some basic ascending gear. They made it up three of the obstacles but got stuck on the fourth because the potshots had nothing to to catch on. The potshots just slipped down when Eric tried to climb up the ropes. The other notable obstacle included a Shaylin-on-Ondy-on-Tara-on-Eric-who-was-stemming-6-feet-off-the-ground human pyramid.
