Hype:

Chimney Rock is a pillar of red sandstone along Highway 24 in Capitol Reef National Park. The Chimney Rock trail takes you up and around to see Chimney Rock from above.

Trail Condition: Class 2 (Trail may have tree roots or rocks jutting out. Navigation skills may consist of following rock cairns and choosing turns at junctions. Elevation gains may be more substantial.)
