Hype:
The Native Plant Loop Trail in Box Canon Park, Ouray, Colorado, offers a short and simple stroll through a modest display of local plant species. While not particularly striking or expansive, the trail includes a few signs identifying native plants and provides a glimpse into the flora of the area. It’s a quick detour suitable for those already visiting the park who want to add a brief educational element to their experience. The views and surroundings, while pleasant, are secondary to the park’s more prominent attractions.

We played Pinochle in the morning. Then everyone got ready and we went to Box Canyon, where we did all the hikes and trails. I was very impressed that Dad was enthusiastic about doing the hikes. A year ago before he lost all the weight that he has lost, he would not have been nearly as interested.
