Dad caught the sickness in the middle of the night and threw up for most of the day. Ondy was also still out with the pukes for the whole day. The rest of us drove into Yellowstone.
We stopped at Midway Geyser Basin first and walked around Grand Prismatic Spring in the pouring rain. We got soaked.
Then the weather cleared up and we went to Biscuit Basin next.
After that, we went to the Old Faithful visitor center. The kids got junior ranger books, and we ate a picnic lunch on the benches. Then we watched Old Faithful erupt. All the other groups headed back after that, but my family stuck around so the kids could finish their junior ranger activities. We watched Old Faithful erupt a second time and listened to a ranger program.
