Locking off an ATC

Description

There is just one way to lock off an ATC.

Mule Hitch Method

1. Stop your descent.
2. Feed a bight of rope through the carabiner.
3. Tie a Mule Hitch above the ATC.
4. Slowly release the brake strand until the Mule Hitch slides down against the ATC and halts your descent.
