Overview

Hype:

If you're at Goblin Valley and the campground is full or if you would rather have free camping, there are several primitive camping areas along County Road 1013. Just drive until you see a spot you like and pull over. We camped near the trailhead of Ding and Dang Canyons just up the road from Little Wildhorse Canyon.

We camped along the dirt road that splits off the main road right before the Little Wildhorse trailhead. We camped for 3 nights. The kids made a pretend fire pit and built a fort under a ledge.
