Hype:
There are several places along Hancock Road where primitive camping is allowed. The majority of the land is BLM, but there is some private land as well, so make sure to check your land use maps before setting up camp.

We camped here for 5 nights during our spring break trip to Kanab. The kids loved playing on the giant rock and exploring the area. The older kids discovered Sand Dune Arch, which was amazing. Killian, Lilian, and Cooper wandered off at one point and got lost for about half an hour. We played games, did crafts, hung around the camp fire, and had a generally good time.
