Hype:
Recapture Pocket is a band of sandstone cliffs and hoodoos similar to Goblin Valley but on a smaller scale. It is located east of Bluff, UT on BLM land. There is no admission fee, but access roads can be rough and sandy. While Recapture Pocket is smaller than Goblin Valley, it is still amazing and a lot of fun to explore.

We learned about Recapture Pocket (called "the chimneys" by some of the locals) at the Bluff Visitor Center. We split up and explored the hoodoos for about an hour. There were some really fun hoodoos, balancing rocks, and even an arch. We took a ton of pictures and really enjoyed it.
