On our canoe trip down the San Juan River, we stopped and camped at Barton's Trading Post. In the morning, we hiked up to San Juan Hill. We had learned a bit about the Hole-in-the-Rock Expedition's trek up San Juan Hill from the video at Bluff Fort, so it was cool to see the hill first hand.
