This is a small mine overlook which provides a good view into the New Cornelia copper mine in Ajo Arizona. The hours of operation listed online were not correct. We went 3 different times that it was supposed to be open, and it was closed all 3 times.

Story

On our way to Puerto Penasco, we stopped in Ajo and tried to visit the Ajo Mine Lookout Visitor Center. Online, it said the visitor center was open, but there was no one there and it was all locked up. We tried again on Saturday on our way back, and it was closed again.
