Hype:

Cloudcap Overlook is a scenic overlook at the end of highest paved road in Oregon, offering panoramic views of Crater Lake.

An interpretive sign at the overlook teached about flag trees - trees where the branches only grow on one side because of the strong prevailing winds coming across the lake from the west.
