Overview

Hype:

Sulphur Works is the park's most easily-accessed hydrothermal area. It features boiling mudpots and steam vents viewable via a sidewalk. A parking area with sidewalk access to the features is located one mile north of the Southwest Entrance.

Story

It was getting dark, and we had a long way to drive to get to our hotel, so we only stopped at Sulphur Works for a couple of minutes. We had no idea that Lassen had hot pots, and we're excited to go back and see what else the Park has to offer.
