Hype:
The volcano, free to the public and visible to pedestrians, erupts regularly each night. Gas jets provide the flames for the volcano, which has water flowing down its sides into a lagoon, covering 4.5 acres. Natural gas pipes, eight inches in width, are used in conjunction with a recirculating system to give the appearance that the lagoon is on fire. In addition, whitewater from the volcano is covered in red lighting to simulate lava.

After dinner, most of the group walked to the strip and we watched the volcano show and then went to the fountains at Caesars Palace. Amanda stayed back at the hotel with their littlest kids and Madi. It was a lot of walking and the kids were troopers but very tuckered out by the end.
