Story

Once we landed in Christchurch, we picked up our bag and walked across the street to the Antarctic center. We checked in and then did the Hagglund and ride, which was kind of like a small tank for use in Antarctica.

They had a track down the road that had all sorts of obstacles that they could show off. They had ramps and crevices and slopes and hills and tires that we went over. It was quite funny and chaotic and reminded us a lot of the redneck roller coaster. After that, we went inside and looked at the exhibits and watched them feed the penguins. Then we went in their storm simulator room, which was supposed to be this super cold white out condition. They had a fans blowing and snow and lighting and stuff. It reminded us of a normal New Year's trip at the cabin.

We watched a few more videos and more exhibits and things and then watched a 4D movie which was okay but then the second movie was really cheesy. We then walked across the street back to the airport and checked in for our flight to Queenstown.
