We were definitely glad we got to see the Louvre. We got there pretty early, but we had to wait in the courtyard for over an hour while our guide got all the headsets and tickets figured out (ugh!). Then we took a "highlights tour" through the Louvre. We saw the most famous pieces including the Mona Lisa and Venus and others. Then we had about a half hour to explore the other 20,000 square feet of museum. We made it through part of the Egyptian Artifacts wing before the security guards started ushering everyone toward the exits. So much to see, so little time to see it!
