Hype:
This popular camping spot along Hole-in-the-Rock Road is right at the junction to Egypt Road. The tent spots are generally smooth, and there are some nice shade trees.

Jeremy Dye, Tara Dye, Savannah Dye, Madilyn Dye, Cooper Dye, Lausdahls,
I took off work early, and we packed up and headed to Hole-in-the-Rock Road for a weekend of outdoor adventuring. We camped at the junction of Hole-in-the-Rock Road and Egypt Road. We got there around 8:00. The Lausdahl's met up with us around 8:30, and Anthony, Woolsey, and Anthony's boss met up with us around 10:00. We had the campsite all to ourselves except for one other couple. The girls slept in their princess tent outside of our tent for the first time. Up until now, we've had their tent setup inside our tent. They all slept through the night including Cooper!
Unfortunately, the second night of camping was not as blissful as the first. The girls got scared when they were going to sleep, so we pulled their tent into ours. Sometime in the middle of the night, Savannah wet the bed (i.e. sleeping bag). This was after she peed before going to bed, and after peeing again when we moved her to our tent. Then after she wet the bed, she had to pee again. So I got my shoes on and took her out. Then ensued the whole struggle of making a new bedroll for Savannah, while she was standing there shivering to death. We finally got her settled and got back to sleep when Cooper woke up. I'm not sure what his deal was, but he did not want to settle down, even with me holding him and rocking him. After a while, he finally settle down and fell back asleep. Then before I could fall back asleep, he woke up again. This time I just crammed him in my sleeping back with me, and he settled right down. Sometime after Cooper moved in with me, Savannah woke up because she was cold. So I pulled the fuzzy blanket out of my sleeping bag and gave it to her. Luckily it wasn't too long before my 5:30 alarm went off, and the sleepless night finally ended.
