Egypt 1 is an awesome slot canyon. Its very beginner-friendly and big-group-friendly. As with the other Egypt slots, the entrance is just a few feet from the road. Egypt 1 is very scenic with layered, sculpted sandstone walls. It has up to 3 rappels.

Story

After doing Egypt 1.5 in the morning with kids, just the four of us did Egypt 1. It was fun. We went fairly quickly (much faster than last time with 12 people including kids), but we didn't run. And back to the trucks in under an hour.

Story

After breakfast, we drove down to Egypt 1 Slot Canyon. This canyon starts right next to the road. The first rappel is less than 100 ft from where you park. We had a great time. We lowered the two older kids down the rappels and had the two babies in frontpacks. We took it easy and had a great time.
