The Sqwurel is a rappel device distributed by BluuGnome. One of the main benefits of the Sqwurel is that you can add friction mid rappel. This makes the Sqwurel especially useful for tall rappels. You can start the rappel with very little friction when there is a lot of rope weight slowing you down. Then as you drop and the rope weight decreases, you can increase friction settings.
