Hype:

Hunua Falls is a 98-foot-tall waterfall on the Wairoa River in the Auckland Region of New Zealand, near Hunua. A short hiking trail takes visitors to a lookout of the falls and to the base of the falls.

Trail Condition: Class 1 (Trail is either paved or gravel. Navigation skills are not needed because there is only one trail or because there are signs. Elevation gains are gradual or there are stairs.)

Time: 10-20 minutes

Length: 0.75 mile loop

Elevation Gain: 200 ft

Story

On Friday, we woke up early and got everything packed up and drove back to Auckland. On our way, we stopped and visited a waterfall and did a short loop hike.
