Hype:

Tongariro National Park Visitor Centre is located in Whakapapa Village, the main gateway into the park. It is New Zealand’s first national park and a UNESCO dual World Heritage Area recognised for its natural and cultural landscapes. The visitor center has several displays and exhibits and a small store.

Story

After hiking to Ketetahi Falls, we checked out the visitor center and read some of the displays and bought a magnet and ate lunch at a food truck.
