Hype:
Mossy Cave is in the northern section of the park, located on Highway 12, approximately 4 miles east of the intersection of Highways 12 and 63. Look for a small parking area on the right-hand side immediately after crossing a little bridge. The Mossy Cave itself is at the end of a short trail. Here too you can see hoodoos and windows without having to hike a steep trail.

For our December camp out, we took the Scouts down to Bryce Canyon National Park. On Saturday, we hiked along the Rim Trail, then took Queens Garden Trail down into the ampitheater. They we took the Navajo Loop Trail back up to the rim.
After lunch, we drove over to the Mossy Cave trailhead. We hiked up to the waterfall and hoodoos first then went up to the cave. It was a fun hike, but the cave wasn't very pretty this time of year.
