I met Dana at the visitor center. He picked up his permit for Englestead, and I picked up my permit for Heaps. Then we did Englestead Canyon together. After the canyon and the next shuttles, I waited at the visitor center for Luke and Tracy to pick me up. I had lots of time to wander around and read all the signs.
