Hype:

LeFevre Overlook is a popular scenic viewpoint on the North Kaibab Ranger District located just a few miles from the north end of the Kaibab Plateau on Scenic Byway 89A. It offers spectacular views of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument along with a number of other area attractions.

Story

On our way down to Flagstaff, we saw this overlook and made a split-second decision to pull over and take a look. The kids were watching shows on their tablets, so Tara and I walked up to the overlook and left them in the car.
