Hype:
Buckhorn Draw is a scenic canyon and back-country recreation corridor in the northern portion of the San Rafael Swell, accessed by the gravel-road known as Buckhorn Draw Road. It features towering sandstone cliffs, a historic rock art panel (the Buckhorn Draw Pictograph Panel) in the Barrier Canyon style, many other rock art panels, disbursed campsites along the canyon, and opportunities for hiking, off-road driving, climbing, and photography. Basic amenities exist (vault toilets, fire rings, picnic tables) but it remains a remote and rugged area where high-clearance or 4WD may be advisable in certain conditions.

On Sunday morning, we double-checked to make sure the pharmacy would be open when we got there and discovered it was actually closed on Sundays. So instead, we drove down Buckhorn Wash Road. We drove down to Swinging Bridge and worked our way back up the road, stopping at various sites along the way.
