Located at the Buckhorn Intersection, the Buckhorn Wash Visitor Center offers visitors key information, maps and guidance for exploring Buckhorn Wash and the surrounding back-country, including rock art sites, scenic canyons, and outdoor recreation. At the center you’ll find helpful facilities such as pit vault toilets, picnic tables and a building with exhibits/maps about the area’s opportunities.

On Friday evening, we drove down to The Wedge for Memorial Day weekend. We used the restrooms and wandered around the Buckhorn Wash visitor center. Then we parked the trailer northeast of the visitor center on a random dirt road. There were a ton of people camped everywhere.
