Hype:

The Polynesian Cultural Center is a Polynesian-themed theme park and living museum located in Laie, on the northern shore of Oahu, Hawaii. Owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) and dedicated on October 12, 1963, the PCC occupies 42 acres (17 hectares) owned by nearby Brigham Young University–Hawaii. Within eight simulated tropical villages, performers demonstrate various arts and crafts from throughout Polynesia. Visitors may also take a free shuttle tour of the university and see the Laie Hawaii Temple and its associated visitors' center of the LDS Church.

Story

We arrived at the Polynesian Cultural Center a lot later than we would have liked because we spent too much time at Pearl Harbor. We arrived in time to watch the tail end of the haka dance at one of the villages. Then we watched a really funny drum performance. After that we watched a fun little dance demonstration from one of the islands. Then we took the bus tour over to the Hawaii temple and visitor center. We ate dinner and then finished the night with the evening performance of Ha.
