It rained before our trip, so the roads were really muddy getting out there. That made for an interesting drive! Anthony hit a cattle guard so hard it cracked a rim on his truck. We camped for just one night. Mom and Dad cooked dutch oven dinner and cobbler. Miller was playing in the snow next to a big puddle in the road, and the ice broke, and he ended up waist deep in the freezing cold water. In the evening, we had some snow which was pretty cold for a bit, but then it calmed down. In the morning, we packed up and continued the family history tour.
